Cooking is my prayer and my passion. My mission is to nourish you, body and spirit, and to integrate your experience of eating with the energy and intention of the retreat. I use the best ingredients I can find, choosing organic and local whenever possible, favoring farms and producers with a high standard of quality and ethics. I choose fresh ingredients with little or no processing or packaging, to bring you each item in its natural integrity and essence. Even if local, this food travelled to be with us, it has offered its life to us, plant and animal alike, it has died so we can have life. I choose to acknowledge and honor this sacred process of cooking and eating, seeing it as magic and medicine, connecting us to the earth, to our bodies, and to each other. I invite you to take some time during each meal to feel the food replenish you and fill you with life.
